The COVID-19 Post

“Wear a mask.” – Dr. Anthony Fauci

Sadly, I have been sidelined by COVID-19. Three out of four of my family members have tested positive. The fourth one is chasing me around the house with a can of Lysol.

Thankfully, I’m fully vaccinated and boosted. This is my 3rd time around, and it is not nearly as bad as before. Thank you, Dr. Fauci!

But I’m going to get some much-needed rest tonight, so I’ll be brief.

Tonight’s post is brought to you by:

  • COVID at-home test kits
  • N95 facemasks and the Be Kind mask I’m wearing in this photo
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Kleenex tissues
  • Whole Foods chicken and rice soup (yum!)
  • Throat Coat tea with honey
  • Gatorade
  • Clorox wipes
  • Lysol spray
  • Tylenol
  • and Vaccines!

Stay healthy, everybody!

XO,

Elisa

I hope you feel better soon because having Covid isn’t fun and what a way to begin a New Year, Running around with a can of Lysol I can relate to. When my husband had it we banished him to his room and when ever he opened his door my son would appear with a can to spray everything and anything. I thank the LORD neither of us got it but that doesn’t mean we will not in the future.

Do you think that if you walk around the house and touch all the surfaces you want cleaned that your Lysol toting shadow will eventually clean the whole house?
Aren’t you glad you have a blog challenge to create a feeling of accomplishment even when you are ill?
Rest, restore and don’t forget to blog!

She has definitely cleaned the main areas of the house with that can of Lysol. That’s for sure. And thanks for the kudos on finishing a post while sick. I appreciate it.

I hope that you feel better soon. The image of your family member chasing you around the house with a can of Lysol is funny, however.
I have to admit that, when I had COVID-19 and people wanted to leave food for me, I felt very powerful. When they asked me if they should leave it at the door, I said, “Yes, just leave the bag and RUN!!!!”
When can we tell people to RUN!
Have a g9od rest and I hope that tomorrow is better and that, before long, you’re running around with that can of Lysol!
